Bucktown is known for its wide selection of bars, and is generally a more reasonably priced neighborhood in comparison to other Chicago neighborhoods. Bucktown also has a wide selection of fine dining, and a most sought out high end shopping experience. It is known for being populated with more artists than any other area in the midwest. They are home to the Bucktown Arts Fest and Around the Coyote Festival in August in September. You will find the majority of bars and restaurants on Damen Ave but theres a handful of each spread across the entire area. Bucktown is located right near Wicker Park and there are a gray area on where the border starts and stops. Both areas are very similar.
